Introducing myself and my journal

About Me:
I work to empower women and children with sustainable solutions. Days for Girls provides washable feminine hygiene supplies as well as programs that allow women to meet their needs in a sustainable manner. With healthy, clean options women all over the world celebrate more days of education, income, community and living. Women with access to feminine hygiene are more likely to resist abuses such as domestic violence, traditions like female genital cutting, and discrimination at home, in society or the workplace. Young women are far less likely to drop out of school. Disease and infection are reduced... it is an issue that prevails in nations where women are treated as subservient. It is an issue that can be address in practical, sustainable ways. We're working with women all over the world. Until no woman has to wait in her room without feminine hygiene solutions...
