Introducing myself and my journal: +254720361325

About Me:
Education Background: Diploma in Social Work and Development Advocacy from Premese Africa Development Institute.

His Vision: The idea of founding Embakasi slums hygiene and sanitation program came up as a dream to me and I turned it into reality. I had realized that one of the main contributors to poor academic performance was due to menstruation, which forces girls to stay home as the cost of sanitary towels is too high. Part of the UN’s Millennium Development Goals is that the girl child should be empowered. Our team saw that empowerment was being hindered by girls’ lack of sanitary towels. To address this, we came up with cheaper ways of acquiring the sanitary towels so that female students’ dreams of academic achievement are attainable.

My Passions:
Being with the children and making them happy

My Challenges:
Getting financial support to run the organization

My Vision for the Future:
To take the organization to the next level so that it can change the lives of girls living in the slums and orphanages

My Areas of Expertise:
social work
