Inspiring Meaningful Change Through Trainathon

As the International Women's Day is fast approaching, I would like to take part in the global campaign by targeting at least 20 women for a start, from my own network to join World Pulse, learn from our initiatives by taking one of our trainings, and share their own stories of their journey towards self-empowerment and self-improvement.

This will be a face-to-face training and interaction wherein everyone gets a chance to speak about themselves briefly. And I will share my own experience as a member of WorldPulse community since 2011 and how World Pulse, despite my on and off participation online, helped me to stay grounded. Then I will introduce them to Basic Digital Skills, Online Advocacy, Safety and Security, and the Digital Storytelling. I intend to use or rent a small function room where WIFI is available so we can all synced online for a particular time.

Tonight, around 1900 HRS Philippine Time, I will be conducting my first session with the women of Coast Guard District Southern Mindanao as part of their Gender and Development Program. We will be using a virtual session for the meantime.
