Inspiring Creativity and Innovation

InspireIT STEM Club Project Workshop in Jos in Plateau State Nigeria

InspireIT is currently running its STEM Club workshops across the 6 geo-political zones in Nigeria. We are working hard to not only ensure that our girls are digitally skilled but also that our children (male and female) are not left behind in learning 21st century skills. We believe that digital skills are very important if we want to raise not only great leaders and entrepreneurs but also creative thinkers and innovators.

Many girls in Nigeria especially in rural areas are yet to fully understand the power of technology. Many are still left behind when it comes to knowledge about digital and coding skills. These girls want to learn but have no access to internet, resources and quality teachers. We are determined to leave no one behind in our quest to support, mentor and encourage more girls to learn digital skills, build strong foundation in science subjects and learn coding skills.

While carrying out our workshops, we ensure that our participants wash their hands, use hand sanitizers and facemasks.

We believe in making positive impact and raising leaders who will go on to raise other leaders. We want to see more girls become innovators and help in changing the myths, stereotypes and false perceptions about women in STEM and girls interested in pursuing careers in STEM.
