Our initiative has witnessed several setbacks and failures, and it has been difficult to not let it affect our (Aditi and Ananya's) morale. With limited people and resources, we have faced a multitude of challenges, a few resulting in what may be called failures or as we like to call them: stepping stones. One of the bigger setbacks we have faced is the question of converting our initiative into an entity that can receive funds. On one hand it would make things much easier for us. Generating content and devoting more time to the network would be more feasible. On the other hand, however, it may draw unwanted from unwanted entities (our initiative is a page on social media), putting a question to our motives in the first place. We have also faced challenges in the form of continuity. We have a tendency to underestimate how much time our initiative demands. We feel like we are letting ourselves and others down. Speaking on both our behalf - we really wish we could dedicate more time to the Chanegmakers lab itself, since it has been a phenomenal community and resource. Going forward, we have learnt to set realistic goals, lean in to community support, and ask for help whenever possible.
