An African proverb says " If we educate a boy we educate one person, if we educate a girl, we educate a family- and a whole nation."

We all know education is the most essential part of every human existence and is the powerful weapon we can use to change the mindset and condition of the society. education is the pathway for the nation's progress, it is the backbone of the society. As the concern youth it's our responsibility to take all measures to provide education and spread literacy to every individual in our region.

We are taking basic steps to spread education by seeing the availability and easy access to school in rural areas. Mid-day meal scheme has been implemented to improve the nutritional status of the children. We have been working into extra-curricular activities, and community building, and the most important are looking for the quality of teacher instead of quantity of teachers.

We are making girls, aware on benefits of being educated and it includes free education like books, uniforms and stationery.

Education gives us self-respect and makes us respected in the society. It takes us out of darkness and show us right path and provide us opportunities to bright our future.

There are several myth behind girl education- (1) Education would prevent them from doing their domestic duties, (2) They would have to travel through public places in order to reach school, (3) People feared that school would take girls away from home, (4) In many parts of the country people believe that if a girl was educated she would choose be unmarried.

Women were typically seen as homemakers. while men were seen as breadwinners. Educating boys were encouraged more as compared to educating girls, and girls got less support from their parents in terms of educational opportunities.

Me as girl child have faced problems of gender inequality where my brothers were allowed for school and I was deprived, where my brothers were allowed to go out play and chill there I was said to stay back at home and help in household chores. one day I finally told my father that I too want to go school and study get education so in future in future I don't have to be financially dependent on anyone and also want to contribute to the family. My father agreed and I was the first girl child in my society who was sent to missionary school for pursuing education seeing this many were encouraged and back-to-back they too sent there children to school so they too can enjoy the freedom of education.

Now we as the youth show initiative and efforts towards things that are important and volunteering for the same is necessary. we as a student participates to volunteer at orphanages, old age homes, through our schools, and teach as teachers in Anganwadi in rural areas, encouraging free education, volunteer the development of new schools provide adequate training to teachers, introducing modern teaching methodologies. Recently the Indian government's Digital India program has focused on providing infrastructure and internet connectivity to rural areas.

Girl education is the most powerful investment we can make for our collective future. When girls are educated, they are less likely to be forced into marriage become pregnant as child and more likely to lead healthy and productive lives. They earn higher incomes, participate in the decision that most affect them, and build better future for themselves and their families. Girl's education strengthens economy and reduce inequality. But education for girls is about girls feeling safe in which they are often underrepresented.

Me as a mentor feel good and happy when my student feels happy and good because they learn the key point of my lectures, and when my students are not truly satisfied with the content of my teaching, I tell them that on next class, I will explain them what I have missed in the current lecture.

Young people have the power to change the world. The reason why girls should get an education are: (1) For future educate generations, (2) Decrease infant mortality, (3) Decrease child marriage, (4) Decrease population explosion, (5) Increase involvement in political process, (6) Decrease domestic and sexual violence, (7) Decrease support for militancy, (8) Improve socioeconomic growth.

The initiatives which can help to improve girl's access to education are: (1) Parental and community involvement, (2) Low cost and flexible timetables, (3) School close to home with women teachers- as many parents worry about girl's travelling long distance on their own and also prefer to have daughter taught by women.

Many girls in India are married at young and drop out of school after they complete their primary education due to societal pressure and early pregnancies. A form of sex discrimination in the educational system is gender inequalities.

In country like Afghanistan, the girls are not allowed to go to school as Taliban officials have justified the school ban and curbs on women's freedom due to lack of a safe environment.

So let us pick up our books and pen, they are our most powerful weapon. One child, one teacher, one pen and one book can change the world, education is the only solution.
