My name is Nilza Costa, I was born and raised in the city of Salvador da Bahia in Brazil and I have been living in Italy for fifteen years. I am a singer, songwriter and my story is similar to so many other stories of black women around the world. A story of struggle, sadness, work and a lot of resistance. But I do with whom the music is the scream of strength and hope.
