If only we let go and give peace a chance, then will we live happily

Five fallen State workers wasted, because of violence within our dear country

The year 2016 was a year full of hopes and great expectations for me because i just had a job and was planning to visit my village and inform my grand mother who toke care of me from infant stage. While i was still planning, something terrible happened which i watch on TV. It was a group of boys publicly advocating and expressing thier bitterness towards the way the affairs of the country were being run.

I had to wait for a while for things to calm down before i could travel. Unfortunately, things went worst till date. I was cought up in the city and the fear of the unknown prevented me from traveling. Its been years now and i can't visit my own village.

Today, cames with heavy eyes, the Case of my dear colleagues who were brutality murdered, while trying to exercise thier civic responsibilities. Killed in cold blood like criminals.

The nation of Cameroon mourns, because the country is fighting against its self. Brothers on one side killing Brothers of the other side. Ironically, either of the men lost are Cameroonians. The country is loosing great man power and great intellectuals that can push the country further. The citizens now find themselves confortable living with animals in the bushes, because thier homes have became death traps and a place where the unknown can locate them at any time. Thousands have lost thier lives and primary care gives, living thier dependent families to suffer. Begging on the streets, prostituting and stealing in urban cities (that's for those who managed to escape), while thousands have lost properties like House being burnt down to ashes and animals or livestock destroyes, women raped, lots of helpless Orphans spotted here and there, while others(Those perpetrating the war) are feeding fat from it. they keep flaming the war and keep thier bank accounts fat. Stop the war and give peace a chance.

Even in the Animal kingdom, animals do not kill themselves nor eat themselves. They don't have clothes but we do have clothes, which is a proof that we are a more advanced specie, created in the image of God, yet we kill our selves.

For how long do we keep confessing the name of God in our country yet do things contrary to God's will. Definitely God will not be silent but will raise one day to judge those flamming this crisis that is claiming the lives of young Cameroonians.

If we stop our young ones and children from schooling or Working, are we planning to have a nation full with people who are illiterates and those economically paralyzed? The perpetrators of these acts are amongst us and they each day pretend to be sorry yet there keep pushing the war further. let us stop shading innocent blood. we cannot keep praying for peace yet shade innocent blood. God will not forgive us. lets avoid God's anger.

What kind of Nation do we intend to have or hand over to posterity, when we can't even render our inputs in contributing to the advancement of our country. Rather we are hopeless and clouded with the fear of the unknown. We can't even work in peace, because we have the thoughts that any body could be the next. Today five fallen civil servants are murdered in cold blood. Marking the end of their dreams and ambitions.

Those who intent to live in Peace must first rest in peace with humanity. Are we ready to rest and live in peace? so let us live in peace and rest in peace.

what if on a cross fire and you are the one perpetrating the war, and suddenly you realise that your wife and children are cought in the fire. what will you do? .

we live each day with fear of not seeing the next day. what a life. we live the house each day to Hussle for food for the household, yet worry if you will come back to meet your family left behind in tact. yet you can't seat at home and remain hungry. At this point, What then can be done? Give peace a chance.

I cry out for peace. I cry out for justice for the innocent. Restore the peaceful Cameroon we use to live in. I pray the Generation yet unborn will cultivate peace amongst themselves. Peace Begins with an individual as a person, then at home with family and later with the different people we meet in the society.

If only peace education is being thought in schools, church and the home. This will help the younger generation grow up with the spirit of peace and patriotism.
