I Will Write Myself
If I am ever given the chance,
I will write myself.
I will write about the tiredness
I have hidden behind strong words,
about the woman who smiled through difficult days
and quietly whispered,
“Everything will be alright.”
But behind those words
were thousands of dreams,
questions, fears,
and a heart that refused to give up.
I will write about the nights
when hope was the only light I had,
when I had to gather my courage
and begin again with the morning.
I will write about women
who are told to compromise,
to remain silent,
to accept what society decides for them.
And I will write about the families
who choose their daughters’ dignity over society’s expectations,
who stand beside them when they need a second chance,
and who remind them that education, freedom and hope
are not privileges,
but rights.
I will write about every woman
who has ever been made to feel
that her story has ended.
Because it has not.
She can begin again.
She can dream again.
She can learn again.
She can rise again.
And no matter how many times life asks me
to become someone else,
I will write myself.
In my own words.
On my own terms.
And this time,
I will not erase my voice. 🌍✨
