Dear Jensine, Ila, and Lisa, I am glad to make your acquaintance. I think you are doing a very important job. My job is quite similar, only that I work with other constituencies. In my work I collaborate closely with local government officials as well as members of community-based organizations, building up their capabilities. We also doing a lot of trainings. Furthermore, we focus on urban community participation, capacity building and community leadership skills. In China this is a rather new development trend, so we still need to learn a lot from experiences around the world. It may interest you that I have been in the USA several times.
