Human Rights violations of persons with a mental health condition

We keep raising awareness and calling out policy makers

Hello world,

It's not because people have a mental health condition that their human rights should be violated. The UDHR of 1948 talks of \"all people\" and not some people in particular. A basic right to 'dignity' for example is sometimes denied persons with a mental illness in some Psychiatric services - you see them stripped and some are chained in the villages by faith or tradi healers making them more vulnerable, frightened and traumatized.

I will as the Regional Representative Africa be leading a conversation of very resourceful guest speakers come March 29th.
