HIV/AIDS

I am Keziah Anje from Bamenda in the Northwest Region of Cameroon. I am a Youth Advocate for HIV/AIDS. I've worked as an HIV Counselor in a hospital. I'm very passionate about educating Young girls and women about HIV/AIDS. I love to see young girls living with HIV also have access to quality education and are free from GBV in all it's forms. My working experience has been a good one because I enjoyed counseling young people whether positive or negative about HIV/AIDS so that together we can fight against the spread of HIV. I am an open minded person in issues concerning women and Young girls living with HIV and I believe that Young girls should have access to a better world. A world where women and girls are free from depression, stigma and discrimination simply because of their HIV status. I have as objective to fight against the spread of HIV through educating my peers who are not infected as well as those who are but lack adequate knowledge about it in order to have a better community. I am here to join my voice with the voices of other powerful women to speak out and promote a society free of discrimination, stigma and depression, and seeing young girls living with HIV having access to programs, services and other resources.
