HELP! MALDIVES LOST FREEDOM... Journalist struggling for life.

Stop the violence! I ask my sisters and my brothers to help spread my voice. Maldivians needs justice, peace and love.

The young journalist who reported on the 30 year old regime lead by Maumoon Adbul Gayoom is now fighting in a hospital in Sri Lanka. If you want to see the evidence of the violence please check http://www.facebook.com/YellowMaldives His brother has been arrested. Doctors are fearful that he may not survive even if he did he may have to live a very challenging life.

Months have passed since brutal murder of the MP Dr. Afrasheem Ali and a fatal attack to a journalist Ismail Hilath Rasheed recovered after having his throat slashed. No perpetrators have being found.

The leaders ordering the security (Police) forces to act against the people without justification is a great concern and is creating a culture of crime. The use of power in Maldives is unjustifiable.

I am seeking justice.... UN, NGOs, Amnesty International leading governments USA, UK, Saudi Arabia, India, China, Australia seeking help form all countries not listed as well big or small. Maldives is tiny country a beautiful garland on Indian ocean. Please help me.

It was a police mutiny on the 7 February 2012. http://www.dhivehisitee.com/policemilitary/faseehtestimony/ Another side of the story.

USA – supported the current government so did INDIA – It is the Maldivians that are paying the price! We have lost total freedom yet to another “Maldivian type dictatorship” I hope to see action form these countries to take steps to do the right and honest thing.

I am pleased to report that India has given sanctuary in the Indian High Commission in Male' to Mohamed Nasheed due to continued threat to his life. The first democratically elected president is forced to seek safety by staying in Indian High Commission in his own country has much to say about the freedom in Maldives. He was removed unjustly. I fear for his life.

An elderly woman says that the current government is working hard to keep Mohamed Nasheed away form the election. With him as a candidate the current government will not get enough vote. They have to go for a coalition. She sign as says. It is better not to speak about this. People are getting beaten and killed.

I replied to her that someone must speak up. Here I am raising my concerns. I am not expecting a change over night. I am seeking assistance to see a Maldives as peaceful islands where people smiled and did not worry about their children getting killed or subjected to violence.

Most shocking is a facebook update I saw today “Boys...do not accept contracts to injure any one. Pls do not. Ultimately these are the people who will hold your hand and show you the other side of the coin. By indulging in violence, you may get a few rufiyaa [money] or shabbadi fulhi eh [I am assuming is a bottle of drink]. But remember it will also give you a hukum, more yrs to serve in prison and take ur freedom away to live a normal life. I have heard your grievance and pain, but pls violence is not a solution. And you are losing yourself in the process and those who may give you these contracts are achieving at your cost. Do not allow any one to use. Pls refrain from the temptations.” [inserted for clarification].

How are you interpreting the above plea?
