Happy To Be Back

Hi Word Pulse Family, I am glad to be back. I have been missing in action here and I must say I miss you all.

What kept me away has partly been family and unexplainable emotional instability.

In 2021, my husband and I lost our first child at birth (it was a still birth). This incident drove in to me some kind of depression and it took me time to bounce back. The death of our baby was greatly due to health insufficiencies - I will talk about this in detail in a book I am writing on my journey to motherhood.

The good news is, two years at after that, God visited us we had our baby boy in January 2022.  The coming of this baby gave me strength, so much joy and hope.  However, this was immediately proceeded by postpartum depression. Postpartum had a toll on me, I could barely do anything productive or feel good about myself. I was greatly marked by serious forgetfulness - each time I planned to do something meaningful,  I'll forget.

However, I am glad and thankful to God that I have found myself again, I continue to find myself and regain control of my entire being.

So, I am glad to be back home. Yes! World Pulse is home to me. Here, I get the chance to constantly speak up and share stories on issues affecting me, to which I am confident other women will identify with.

Dear sisters of World Pulse, please welcome me back.
