Happy International Women’s Day

My mother with my niece

She brought me into this world and gave me a reason to live

She taught me never to give up…

She made me what I am,

She taught me to help all and be honest.

When you say I am a nice human being,

I feel proud because I am living up to her dreams

She is my mother … a lady who made me what I am.

Thanks to all my friends who made me a good listener.

Because they always listen to my non-sense with patience,

And still don’t complain.

Thank you for always being on my side

And for scolding me when I am at fault.

You gave ample reasons for loving this world

And to respect others.

Thanks to all my teachers who excel in their respective fields

And inspired me to be strong.

Thanks to all those women who guided me at any point of my life

Because you inspire me to fight, to reach new heights,

Inspire me to enjoy each moment of life.

Few left showed me another face…

A face that no one likes,

You taught me that world around me is not a fairyland,

You gave me reasons to dislike.

But I am thankful to you too

Because you have made me stronger to face the world.

Thanks to all of you, who made me what I am.
