GreenRift Empowerment Project

Overview:

The GreenRift Empowerment Project is dedicated to environmental conservation and community empowerment in the Rift Valley region of Kenya. It started as a high school tree planting initiative and has since transformed into a registered NGO with a mission to create a sustainable future for both the environment and the communities it serves.

Ongoing Projects:

1. Tree Planting Campaign: Our goal is to plant 3,000 trees by 2024 across the Rift Valley. We believe that every tree we plant is a symbol of change and a step towards a greener, more sustainable future.
2. Youth Conservation Training: We are committed to training 100 girls and 100 boys on conservation practices. Through educational programs, we empower the youth to become stewards of their environment and advocates for change.
3. School Outreach: We aim to visit ten schools in the Rift Valley to promote environmental awareness, tree planting, and youth empowerment. These visits will provide a platform for students to actively engage in conservation efforts.
