Government of Uganda has to empower girl child and teenage mothers to end teenage pregnancy



There is a need of the government of Uganda to empower girl child through education and teenage mothers through vocational training skills to end the increasing cases of teenage pregnancy.



During our community outreach program as Rwenzori young mothers Network RYOMNET we found out many teenage girls who have dropped out of school due to some reasons and teenage mothers suffering alot, these girls suffer from stigmatization, chased away from their families, discrimination, lack basic needs, forced into early mariage, they cannot access to Health services and many others increased by the high rates of poverty.



The girls asked government that if it can help them to access vocational training centers and gain skills in hair dressing, tailoring, knitting so as after create jobs for themselves to eradicate poverty in their families.
