Wishing World Pulse Sisterhood Happy Blessed Holidays and New Prosperous Year!

I also want to respond here briefly to the many sisters who have shared stories of women and girls empowerment in leadership, food insecurities, people coping with disabilities, cyber insecurity, cyber bullies, racism, Trans gender violence , gender inequality, climate change, economic stability, environmental issues, planting trees,  job employment and of-course farming and agriculture. All of you inspire me to read your stories and tweet my encouragement back to you. I enjoy this because I teach on two continents women empowerment programs and mentor males as well as female for more than twenty-five years now on various topics related to self-empowerment and motivation.

Story Topic : Every year and throughout the year we received the biggest demand/request for food. My interest in farming started long before my foundation days to start my nonprofit. At that time my life was full of marriage, babies and then going to college. I started my higher education late in life after my grown children were in their twenties while they baby sat my three younger babies. Yes what a journey and I got through it without missing one day in school for four years receiving two degrees at one time way back then before the year 2000, June 1999 precisely. I write this to say and strongly encourage you to keep going because if a old lady like myself could pull it off with the help of GOD and my family and friends supporting me so can YOU!!!! I continue my education still today attending various schools when I frequently visit USA and at home in Senegal. Educational study in my neighboring countries of Mauritania and Magreb, GOD willing, a new collaboration forthcoming. We recently completed a successful amazing program in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Let me hop back on the subject of food and agriculture which I am very happy to continue learning. Thank you for the inbox messages from some of you who have reached out to ask questions. Because I am a baby in the agriculture business, I don't claim to be a a farmer yet like my beloved grandmother and my son and  dear partner Serigne Thioune in my amazing country of Senegal. I wrote a Program for my nonprofit called The Orphan Fund that I financially kickstarted to get off the ground a few years back. Working and residing in Senegal you see thousands of children begging all day and it is very heart-breaking and stressful. This propelled me to start my farming education and collaborative, to DO something about the hunger I witnessed and still daily. Thanking GOD today we have fed thousands of orphans and people collectively over the years via Queen Sheba Village organization holding programs and events for example Giving Tuesday and annually. Queen Sheba Cisse (AF) Agriculture  and Farms is very important, to us that I and my small team provide food security at The upcoming Build Education Facility for Women, Girls and Families (My Changemakers Initiative Project).
