Give me the strength to bear the knowledge

They would not understand the level of passion one possess, but tell you to stay focused with your education. They define education only in getting the degree done, get a job and same old routine, but the more I educate myself the more I learn what the world has been deprived of. The more I know about how things work around the more I need an urge of wishing for a system where education teach us equality brotherhood, tolerance and acceptance and more then just learning for how to earn a living. More then sixteen years of education, a complete transformation in ones life and I am expected to behave as if everything around works normal when in reality its not. I am expected to silently obey the trend which has been showed to me acting like blind not been able to see and deaf not hearing anything uttered. More then sixteen years of struggles, accomplishments, new ideology, set of little little dreams and you tell me to be ignorant all over again acting like nothing matters here not even your sixteen years of struggles!!! “Either grant me the bliss of the ignorant or give me the strength to bear the knowledge.” Elif Shafak
