GirlForce: Unscripted and Unstoppable

On World Pulse, Day of the Girl is every day.

I would like every girl to know the importance of defining her own path, sharing her powerful stories and daring to dream.

Sabdio, Kenya

This past month, World Pulse sisters have been logging on and rising up in celebration of #dayofthegirl. More than 100 members across 30 countries shared their stories, and the message is clear: as a community, we are unscripted and unstoppable!

Your stories highlight a collective commitment to bestowing a better future for the next generation of leaders.

You shared heartfelt letters addressed to the young girls in your lives. Stories of the challenges you surmounted in your own childhoods, and stories of lessons learned and wisdom gained. You introduced us to those who give you hope: women who are leading efforts to support young women, and girls who are already changing the world. You shared about your own efforts to support youth in your communities and gave us hope.

This is just the beginning! Explore The Girls Hub to read all the submissions, and be sure to leave encouraging comments so that every woman knows that her voice matters and that she has been heard. And don't forget to follow World Pulse on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. We'll continue to highlight your #dayofthegirl stories throughout the week. We only wish we could feature each and every one of you!

While the 2019 Day of the Girl call for stories is now closed, World Pulse is always open. We'll be announcing new opportunities to collectively speak out soon, and you can raise your voice on the issues and topics that matter to you every day. We're always here to listen.
