As the convener, I spoke on what the day of Girl Child means, protection from human traffickers and sensitization about the new law, Violence Against People's Prohibition Act. Each school also received 3 copies of VAPP law to be in their school library to be accessed by students to know more about how the law can be protecting them. It was a grand day as the girls mostly from rural areas went home with series of gift sent to us by our partner from London.
