FYI - Upcoming Conferences - Any PF X 2 Folks going?

On our last call I mentioned that this June, I will be attending two activist conferences in Detroit as part of delegations from two groups that I organize with. I am wondering if anyone from PotoFanm + Fi is thinking of going to one or both?

The Allied Media Conference is June 18-20 th http://www.alliedmediaconference.org/
and US Social Forum us June 22-26th http://ussf2010.org/
There has been a lot of thought put in to how the conferences connect to Detroit and to eachother.
The AMC is particularly great for those interested in using media and technology for social change - super
hands on workshops and very creative. The US Social Forum is the US based manifestation of the World Social Forum phenomena which has radiated out from Brazil to many parts of the world.

I will of course be happy to distribute literature there but am currently over booked dealing with logistics with the other two groups in terms of organizing a panel or anything like that.

Both conferences are brimming with amazing folks and I encourage folks to check them out.
