From idea to implementation; My social enterprise Journey

Creating an awareness of the Malawian Nursing professionals is not an easy task. it requires a lot of energy, collaboration and patience to overcome the negative reaction that the public might have a the recount their own encounters with nurses. However, with a good strategy, we can recreate the image of Nursing and introduce the roles, functions and achievements of Malawian Nurses to the Malawian Public.

This initiative will be implemented through a public awareness campaign, and the local media. The initiative will also collaborate with professional bodies like Midwives association of Malawi, Nurses and Midwives Council of Malawi. Work with professional medical associations and organizations to promote the importance of credential transparency through educational campaigns and provide resources that can be shared with their members and the wider community.

The initiative will form part of my social enterprise .My social enterprise will be a hybrid social enterprise with the intent to make profits that can also be used to service the community at hand. The enterprise will start conducting initiatives at a pilot phase before the actual legal registration. The registration process will require documents like business acts and constitution which will need to be put together for the registration to be completed.

The social enterprise will conduct some other activities but this initiative will e the pilot initiative under the enterprise. Am hoping to see the enterprise grow to to advocancy, empowerment and general awareness.
