Connections

3/8/2023
I want to share a light highlight of my journey with you all; unique humans across the globe on this important day which marks International women's day.
Global Greeting.
I, Kawser Amine, Founder and CEO of Women Solidarity For Peace and Leadership (WSPL) & Amine Soccer Academy.
I serve as a Global Goodwill Ambassador for GGAF, the Advisory Board for Global friends of Afghanistan GFA, a Board member of the Sport Profissional Knowledge Network SPKN, a Board member of Women Who Do Wonders, and a Member of the United Nations Football for the Goal Campaign.
I born and raised in Kabul, Afghanistan. I earned a bachelor's degree in general management with and specialization in international relations at the Indian School of Business Management in New Delhi, India. I also earned a High-Level Sports Philanthropy certificate from George Washington GW university.
As a young woman working with various leaders of Women’s groups and Peace Activist Groups at all levels of society, I aim to promote and improve the participation of Women in leadership roles dealing with Governance, Politics, the Peace Process, and sports.
As a former Athlete with the Afghanistan women's National Soccer team, as well as a women’s rights activist, Author, Speaker, and Changemaker, I used my experience and expertise to shed light on the plight of women in Afghanistan.
My work and activism include funding the women’s leadership club/Women’s soccer club in AUAF, American University of Afghanistan. I worked as a leadership program assistant in the office of the national security council of Afghanistan. I served as a Political analyst for the secretary council of Afghanistan in the Office of the President ARG, as well as a Gender Program Adviser in the Ministry of Women’s Affairs. I also hosted a Goal radio program for City Radio FM and have volunteered with numerous other organizations.
All I want is to raise my voice, to speak for the thousands of voices that have been silenced. I stand up and support women in all sectors of society. I use the power of sport for social goals and advocate for gender equality, female empowerment, peace, justice, and all vital institutions for women.
My story is not different. Then the millions of women and girls, but it is unique. Because I started my advocacy at a very early age, at eight years old, while facing the gender gap, inequality, and discrimination against women and girls in Afghanistan. A little seven years old girl who dreamed of education and soccer. But the most important listen and experience I learned from my life was being the true version of myself and never giving up. If you give up, you will never make it up.
My journey reaching out to this position was not easy, but it was one of the best and most difficult choices I have ever made. I kicked my life hard time by kicking a soccer ball which made life more difficult to speak, and raising my voice for justice, equality, and peace put me in a precarious position in my life I never imagined because I only had two choices skip or stay. But I always believed one day, I could pay myself back with greatness, love, and a huge title, and I almost did. I started as a seven-year-old girl, and today a woman and mother standing on the front line advocating for female rights globally. This is the most powerful piece in my life. I enjoyed living my life every day with a new vibe and new hope for a better tomorrow.
All human beings are experiencing issues, difficulties, hard times, up and down, and falls/successes in their lives, but I want to advise every single person, especially teens live your life with no fear and imagine there is no tomorrow and a next chance, dream big even if you can't reach soon. I know I had a hard journey as a woman from Afghanistan. Most things are not allowed to me and are even impossible, but I hope and believe in myself that one day we will make this world very beautiful, a free world for all women and girls to fly without risk of falling.
