Flowers to my younger self

How do you want your flowers? A piece, a bouquet, or a garden? That is how much I want to reward you for a job well done. Teenage years were not that kind to you but every time they served you lemons you managed to make lemonades, I mean seeing opportunities in everything even what was meant to shatter you.

Is it juggling education and health or getting the most out of teenage years while being helpful to your siblings? If I were to reward anyone for hanging in there even when it seemed like all was lost I would give that reward to you over and over, my heroine, my mentor, my younger self.

I admired how you fought your battles like a pro yet you were so clueless, all you carried along was hope consoling yourself that one bad experience was not going to define you entirely. Your priorities were wild, considering others for their happiness meant the world to you.

I admire the audacity and courage to dare yourself the most. You were determined to get the best out of life and that is how you managed to get through your teenage years safely, not being a victim of bad influence, kudos to that.

The picture of how you picked up the pieces of you is a beautiful art, you rose again with your self-esteem so intact like one who had never lost it. Your scars became your strength and motivation to exploit the second chance life had given you to the latter. You clapped for yourself and that you have carried that to adulthood, doing you for self-fulfillment wanting to not die a frustrated lady who only dreamed but never actualized it.

I'm glad you were super bold because you laid a strong foundation for me to build from, I couldn't have asked for a better younger self, you were perfect. Thank you for being optimistic and I the older self promise to make all your dreams a reality. With you as my number one support system I believe in the new dawn of wins, stay with me and push me to greatness.
