First entry after three years...

This my first journal entry, even though I have been a listener for a while now here at World Pulse. I have enjoyed reading many of the stories here but I want to also share my story. I am typically timid and shy, I was bullied in school for being overweight and I wondered for many years how I could actually fit into this world. I have battled depression, suicide attempts, cutting and bruising my arms, trying to find out how I can find the true meaning of my life. But that person that I had trapped in my body was able to realize the value of life and humanity altogether. I have survived an internal war and I can now finally live free, like a butterfly. My life and expectations have changed and with that I have taken on a new mission, to connect with people from all over the world that have the drive and desire to help others.
