FGM on women & girls - Makeni sierra Leone

Female Genital Mutilation is completely a harmful practice carried out on women & girls in sierra Leone, Makeni and it has resulted to lots of isssues  , therefore must not be tolerated. 

The clitoris on women & girls are taken off either by the use of blades or unsterilized instruments which caused lots of negative impacts : complications on childbirth, bleeding , festula, drop out of Schools, Early arrangements for Early marriage & Teenage pregnancy, No chilbirth and infections - HIV etc. 

I feel so angry seeing this practice going and I will always continue to talk, shout and engage grassroots on such an alarming issue - won't stop until there's a Zero Tolerance on FGM. 

A girl can have a clitoris and gets a good or real man - so let's don't determine the marital status of our girls through FGM ( A girl can undergo FGM and have no good man to support her ) so let's change narratives and make things happen.

Let's leave the clitoris as women& girls - we need it and we use it alot , we deserve pleasure and it comes naturally . 

FGM is demoralizing us as women and shows no signs of respect , let's continue to fight till we succeed.
