FEMMES VIVANT AVEC HANDICAP(AEPIFHA)

Sisi ni wa mama wa lemavu wanao patikana mu République Démocratique du Congo(RDC), pa Sud-Kivu /Bukavu /Lycée Wima.
Objectif yetu ni kupiganisha ukosefu ya wa mama walemavu kutoka mu hali ya kuomba njiyani na ku jitegemeya.
Tuna fanya kazi ya mikono sawa vile : coupe et couture, artisanat, broderie, kuchona sakoshi ya modele mbalimbali.
Tuna fundisha piya wengine wa mama na ma binti iyo kazi kusudi tufikiye ku lengo ya kujitegemeya.
Kwa leo, tungali na tumikiya tu apa Bukaku, lakini tuko na jifunza namna ya kuingiya ku ma interieur kwa kuanza iyo kazi kusudi mama mlemavu wa ku interieur ajisikiye naye kama ni mtu sawa sawa na wanawake wengine na anafaa ndani ya société, ili ajuwe namna ya kujigaramiya kupitiya iyo kazi ya mikono.
Tuko tuna fanya sensibilisation ili iyo kazi iendeleye mbele mu ku teteya haki ya mama mlemavu. Maana tuna fikiriya kwamba ita saidiya ku badirisha duniya nzima.

Women living with disabilities

We are the mothers with disability from the Democratic Republic of Congo in the South of Kivu / Bukavu / Lycée Wima.
Our objective is to fight against street begging and strive for self reliance for disabled women. We work using our hands for instance we work as dressmakers, handcraft, embroidery, making hand bags of different designs.

We are also sharing this knowledge and teaching other mothers and girls so that we can reach a level of self reliance. As we speak, we are only based in Bukavu but we are looking into possible ways of operating in remote rural areas. We would like disabled women living in remote rural areas to start this kind of work because it will make them feel like they are as human as any other women and that they are useful to their community plus this work will empower them financially.
We are advocating for the rights of disabled women and for this work to keep going on because we believe that it will help and change the whole world.
