Females: Not Lesser Species

It has been a while on the Web. I got carried away with the winds of pursuing my legal career, but without much fulfilment in doing so, because there were no concerns about women and children in my roles definitions.

However in my one year working in a Corporate world I can shout aloud affirmatively that females are considered lesser than males in a working environment, especially if you are beautiful. No one bothers to associate with the brains behind the beauty, everyone sees you as a potential date to some MD or ED. You are not seen differently by your female colleagues too, who have succumbed to the fallacy that males are actually better than they are at work.

It is high time we changed this \"female inferiority mentality \" moulded by the societies we have been born into. I am an African woman, but I dare say that I would not succumb to unproven believes.

It's high time we voiced that females are not lesser human species.
