Female Teachers received VAPP law from WIDC during International Day of Girl Child
To celebrate International Women Day this year 2023, Women inspiration Development Center will be taking 100 female teachers to the digital space. The theme for this year is "Embrace Equity" which means embrace equal opportunity for all. Based on our new initiative "Tech 4 All" We will be inviting 100 female teachers from 100 schools in Nigeria, and they will be receiving trainings on Digital storytelling, having meaningful connection online and also human trafficking prevention.
It will be part of the requirement to join World Pulse as participants of the program because we want to ensure that the teachers join an online platform that will continue to help them to thrive after the program and our community World Pulse will be the best for them to access resources as well as amplifying their voices online.
In Nigeria, about 48% of secondary school teachers were female. Only 6 out 10 have android phone while 2 out of 10 have meaningful connection online. This training become germane because teachers are supposed to be custodians of information. They impact knowledge and so they must be knowledgeable. Learn more here :
