L’Association des Etudes Haïtiennes offre un forum pour l’échange des idées ayant pour objet Haïti et son peuple tant dans le pays qu’à l’étranger. Plus précisemment, l’Association vise à encourager toutes recherches et méthodes pédagogiques nouvelles portant sur Haïti, son histoire et sa culture. De plus, L’Association dissémine tout savoir concernant Haïti et reconnaît les contributions de ceux dont les travaux de recherche se concentrent sur Haïti et son peuple.

Mission Statement



The Haitian Studies Association provides a forum for the interchange of ideas about Haiti and its people at home and abroad. More specifically, the association is dedicated to encourage new scholarship and modes of pedagogy about Haiti, its history and culture. It also disseminates knowledge about Haiti in general and celebrates the scholarly achievements and contributions of those whose research interests focus on Haiti and its people.
