Entries in 2013 VOF Campaign

I have just read the first contributions to the VOF Campaign and I am totally blown away by the honesty and level that girls and women are being abused around the world. I've read the non-fiction book, "Half the Sky" and thought I understood the extent of the total lack of human rights experienced by women, but I was wrong. When I read the stories submitted by women in impoverished areas, holding out little hope for change, I makes me determined to SPEAK OUT, instead of encouraging the violence by being silent. Change starts in one heart, share it and change starts in another heart. We must keep the up momentum that World Pulse and other gender-based organizations got started. Let's all share this story, this need with one other person.
