Women living with special needs (retarded, epileptic) are largely neglected in Kenya. Most are abandoned when their mother finds out the child is retarded. When they grow up, family and outsiders take advantage of them either as servants or sex objects. They often have children from different men, most who rape them. The women in my Campaign represent the plight of thousands around Kenya. These 'Forgotten Ones' are human beings just like you and I. Join me in creating an initiative that offers safety, support, and shelter for them and love and education for their children.
