initiative

Empowering GBV survivors

Fountain of hope is a non Governmental organization that’s was initiated by Myself after having gone through a series of Gender base Voilence and went through the resilient moment bounced back and a powerful survivor and now I thought it wise to be an advocate in my community.

The initiative is to Creat a safe space for the girl child especially rape survivors and victims of GBV in my community which is experiencing a lot of violence where by the crisis situation has got lots of young boys and men becoming rapist and voilating women and girls. These victims end up in a delima With the trade I learnt I seek support to train 15 young survivors of Gender Base Voilence and rape to be able to empower themselves and become responsible women in the society. This will along side go with sensitization against rape and all forms of GBV getting them ready for a better future

The safe space will have a leader and social workers who are present 24/7 to receive cases and manage them

The girls will also be empowered to learn a trade of their choice which by the help of donors will help them with start up kits and capital to set up their own businesses and make money to take care of their needs and other stuff.

sessions will be held with them always and updates on New lessons on Gender Based Violence Making sure they become advocates in their various communities and where ever they go
