Girls and women usually shut down after experiencing any form of violence. I still have a loud voice to address my audience, demand for RSH information and justice. I can do more and achieve more because of the numerous capacity building trainings I have received.
Stigma and discrimination do not allow girls and women speak out after any form of violence. Culture and societal norms makes it difficult for girls to openly access Sexual and Reproductive Health information and services especially when it is needed as a result of cases like rape.
With Blog it Out (BIO) campaign, I empower girls with useful skills using their mobile phones to speak out on GBV within their communities and harmful cultural norms that has been a barrier to their future.
