Empoderamiento de las Mujeres Indígenas en el Campo digital, social, económico Político y Cultural

La mujer necesita desarrollar varios temas para su desarrollo integral y a continuación mencionaremos algunos según las necesidades de ellas mismas al mismo tiempo se ha observado de acuerdo a las actividades que se han realizado durante el tiempo que se ha trabajado con ellas desde el Centro de Negocio de nuestra biblioteca Comunitaria Rija’tzuul Na’ooj.

1. salud, espacios políticos, participación política: son espacios que no se han trabajado con las mujeres en la biblioteca, pero en el municipio existe una oficina Municipal de la Mujer quien responde y trabaja estos temas con las mujeres en general, porque no trabaja la biblioteca estos temas es por no duplicar esfuerzos pero existe la coordinación entre el centro de negocio y la oficina de la mujer.




2. Educación Escolar y extraescolar: este tema se trabaja con las mujeres desde la biblioteca y centro de negocio ya que es uno de los ejes de trabajo que ha desarrollado desde el centro de negocio con las mujeres, han venido a aprender a leer y escribir en algunos casos a aprender su firma y escribir su nombre.
   Tecnología: este tema también lo desarrollamos desde el Centro de negocio ya que uno de los objetivos del proyecto es que las mujeres sean las que protagonizan sus cooperativas y entre unos de los aspectos importantes es conocer y aprender tecnología como herramienta principal para comercializar el negocio y con esto podemos mencionar que se destacan tres grupos de mujeres que están aprendiendo tecnologías, en el centro de Negocio, de la biblioteca Comunitaria Rija’tzuul Na’ooj, San Juan La Laguna, Guatemala C.A.

El tejido y el tinte natural son practicas ancestrales que enmarca la vida de cada uno de ellas porque en cada uno de los tejidos hay expresiones diferentes y mucha creatividad de parte de las mujeres.

Empowerment of Native Women in Digital, Social, Economic, Political, and Cultural Areas

Women need to develop several aspects of their integral development and we’ll mention some of them according to their own needs as well as to the observation of the activities carried out during the time I’ve worked with them in the Business Centre of our Community Library Rija’tzuul Na’ooj.

1. Health, Political Spaces, and Political Participation: these are spaces that haven’t been addressed with the women at the library, but in the City Hall there’s a Municipal Office of Women to work and act in these issues with women in general. The Library doesn’t work on these subjects in order not to duplicate efforts, but there’s coordination between the Business Centre and the Office of Women.




2. School and After-School Education: we work on these topics with women from the Library and Business Centre since it’s one of the focuses of the work developed from the Business Centre with women. They’ve come to learn how to read and write, and in some cases learn how to sign or write their own names.

Technology: this topic is also addressed from the Business Centre since one of the objectives of the project is to empower women to lead their cooperatives. One of the most important aspects is to know and learn technology as a main tool to generate commerce. We can stand out three groups of women who are learning how to use technology in the Business Centre, at the Community Library Rija’tzuul Na’ooj, San Juan La Laguna, Guatemala CA.

Weaving and natural dyeing are ancestral practices that frame the life of each one of these women, because in each of those fabrics there are different expressions and lots of their creativity.
