EMBRACING YOUR FEMININITY

As daughters of God, we need to embrace ALL facets of our feminine nature and honor Him in our essence. We should follow God’s beautiful plan.

The Facts:

We cannot erase who God has designed us to be.

When we alter our God-given gender, we are rebelling against our Creator.

God does not make mistakes. Be assured, He made us women on purpose.

The only way to embrace our calling as women is to set aside our ideas and adhere to God’s Word. The Bible does express different roles for men and women, but God didn’t create one gender to be better or more useful in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Jesus validated the importance of women during His earthly ministry. His life communicated a woman’s worth and significance in His Kingdom.

God commands husbands to love their wives in marriage as Christ loved the Church. (See Ephesians 5:25.) God is obviously concerned with how women are treated. And women are called to love their husbands with the same type of servant-hearted love.

Biblical male and female roles are no longer often seen as desirable traits. We object to the notion that the roles and distinctions men and women play in a partnership should differ. It’s a common belief that being different inevitably makes one “less than.” Adam needed a helper. God fashioned one to the specifications of his need and brought her to him. It was Adam’s job to husband her, that is, he was responsible — to care for, protect, provide for, and cherish her. Males, as the physical design alone would show, are made to be initiators. Females are made to be receptors, responders.”

Taking femininity into your love life is a choice. And although there isn’t a one-size-fits-all mold in how to do this, there are helpful Biblical truths that we can embrace.
