Economic empowerment of survivors of gender based violence

The prolonged armed conflict wrecking the North and South West regions of Cameroon have had a great impact on women and girls in particular, coupled with the effects of Covid19.

Women suffer from different forms of gender based violence such as physical violence, sexual violence and denial of resources. Between August 2021 and January 2022, our organization registered close to 16 Cases of gender based violence who expressed the desire to be empowered to avoid further occurrences.

It is my wish that we work together to see this happen.
