story
I'm taking a moment of time now to share with you whatI sent to family and friends via emailfollowing Donald Trump's Presidential win. Because my time online is limited and because of the length of my analysis, I will post sections ofit at a time starting from the beginning. (A few edits to the original email have been made.)
Hello/Peace be upon you,
Well my prediction, my brother Umar's, Michael Moore's, Helmut Norpoth's,and others'prediction that DonaldTrump would winthe election wascorrect. You know just as well as I do that this country and the culture of this country is about how well one can talk the talk and walk the walk. One can have nothing of value to speak about but if one can speak it well and be entertaining, he/she is regarded and is influential. Alot of people living in the United States are very ignorant and are moved by drama, emotions, and self-centeredness, not by logic or reason or justice for all.The USoverwhelmingly speakingis a country that responds tosoundbites and charisma. Like one commentator on CNNsaid, this was an election based on personality not based on a plan. I agree with his statement.
Headlines read:Biggest upset or shock in US presidential history. If one looked and evaluatedthings from the start of the candidates' campaigning, and observed howthings were playing out, one would not see Trump's win or his beating Clintonas an upset or a shock at all. Based on one's analysis of things, he/she would have been able to make aneducated guess or a prediction thatTrump wouldwin the election. The fact that Donald Trump was on the politicalscene was enough reason for me.Anytime someone like him shows up on the scenevirtually out of nowhere, it isn't for nothing.Dude was going somewhere and getting somewhere.Even though themedia was feeding us information days before November 8th suggesting or hinting at awin forHillary, something kept me staying true to my prediction. For onething, I stronglybelieve there will never be a female US President. Never. A goodnumber of womenwill run and maybe even come close based on a subjectivetally of votesbut I seriously believe a womanwill never beAmerica's Commander and Chief. Secretly, she's not allowed. In America, this position is forever reserved for a man and only a certain type of aman. Mind you,I didn't say necessarily a certain color man. As for me, although I believe a woman is capable of leading or being a leader, I personally thinka man, of course a principled, equitable, God fearing, competent, concerned about all of humanity, etc.manshould be the leader of a country for several reasons.
To highlight, it cannot beforgottenthat it was the white man in America who took away women in America'sGod-given rights during its founding days and throughout its development until fairly recently and to this day, he has yet togive her back all of herrights. If the ideology and the mindset thatindoctrinates the United States of America's socio-political and socioeconomicculture has not changed, which surely it has not given all the violations of women's rights in the manydifferent ways on a daily basis, you think that same ideology and mindsetis going to allowa woman to be crowned the most powerful position in thecountry. She doesn't stand a chance. As far as I'm concerned, whatever woman it is...be it Hillary Clinton or Betty Jones, during her race to the White House, she would have only been burning rubber and adding grey to her hair.I think generally speaking, the white manisn't goingto take orders from the white woman at the level of President and certainly not without gritting his teeth. Why Ithink so?The whiteman is in competition with the white woman. As far as power is concerned, she is 2nd in line after him so she poses as a threat. Of course, we know this ranking of possession ofpower isn't true in the reality of things,in God's reality that is. However,in man made reality, this isthe case in the United States. The white man has tohave more power and influence than the white woman and he wouldnot be able to rest knowing he has to take orders fromher, a female president, let alone have to watcha white female president conduct the affairs of the country for four or eight years.A black man stood a chance of winning the Presidency and won once butnot a woman. As long as the white man is in the picture, I believe it will be an uphill battle for any woman runningwith her eventually falling flat on her back. The white man (to clarify, when I refer to the white man I'm primarily speaking of the predominantwhite male culture or ideology in the United States or could be said White Male America)views himself as superior to all, thus a white woman even though she is the same color as he,is consideredinferior to him.
