Do You Believe Women Owe You?

Women don't owe you beauty.

Women don't owe you a voluptuous body.

Women don't owe you obedience.

Women don't owe you fertility.

Women don't owe you virginity.

Women don't owe you domestication.

Women don't owe you smiles.

Women don't owe you their careers.

Women don't owe you sex.

Women don't owe you sexual pleasure.

Women don't owe you godliness.

Women don't owe you niceness.

Women don't owe you silence.

Women don't owe you a romantic relationship.

Women owe you NOTHING!!!.

Every day in different parts of the world women and girls are coerced, maltreated, controlled, mutilated and terrorized in their homes, on the streets, schools, at work, religious institutions and the media just because they were born females.

Believing women owe you the above and more is one reason the rights of women and girls are constantly violated.

Women are human beings who should be treated with reverence. STOP THE ABUSE!

Every woman and girl has the right to exercise her choice whether it's acceptable to you or not. Women do not live to accept your proposals or validate your existence.

The word 'NO' isn't an abnormal response, it should be used freely. Refusal should never be met with violence but acceptance and understanding because it is within our rights to choose. This should be the NORM everywhere!!!

As we commemorate women's month, you must be enlightened, acknowledge and unlearn these harmful patterns.
