Disability Justice in Conflict

It's been 5 years and above we have been experiencing sociopolitical Crisis in the North and South West Regions in Cameroon. Persons with Disabilities have been at most disadvantaged with most happenings in the Region. I remember one time there was a gun exchanged between the restoration forces and the regular security forces. I was in the market Hussling for daily bread. It reached an extebd that guns were shot in the market and everyone was forced to pack out. Ok everyone was concentrating and sending thier samples goods in thier shops in a hurry. You know persons with Disability like I will always require more time than any other person to pack in thier own goods and in situations like that everyone is Concentrating to do thier things not even thinking of the other. They will will finish and they start taking thier feeds home, some that you know and dine well would pass and not even render a helping hand to to persons with Disability. My question is now this:?.

How can persons with Disabilities be protected in times of conflicts to ensure they live thier normal lives and not die? I remember I saw a wheelchair user died on his wheelchair when they was an exchange and no one could help him. Unfortunately he was picked by a stray bullet. How do we help persons with Disabilities in situations as such?
