DIGITAL STORY TELLING MODULE 1

Telling or sharing my story , depends on the audience , for instance world pulse is a sisterhood community and I feel comfortable to share because my story may have the potential to help or save someone else , my story may empower others being of the same sex we face or go through the same things sharing makes one feel less alone , you end up learning that others also went through the same thing , or are going through that situation .My story may be affirmative , validating , away to heal and move on from anything traumatic , and it can also act as a way to preserve memory . Telling my story might evoke compassion even from strangers we create room to better understand others and cultivate empathy towards them . In most cases , after sharing my stories I get courage with the courageous wards from the world pulse sisters , it makes me feel relieved , wanted , accepted .

At first , when I joined world pulse it was a bit challenging because I imagined my self sharing with strangers , but after sharing a story or two , I felt different because of the response I got . All the sisters were welcoming , kind and I was showered with nice words , and guidance. The audience was always open for me , willingly to listen and supportive.
