I am crazy about the serial \"Desperate Housewives\" i do not know what season is running now, however, i get to watch cd's of it. As much as i am crazy about the characters like Susan who i identify with, i have to admit that they are not desperate in any way.All they get to do is live in fancy houses and have a ball. To get a feel of how desperate housewives can be, one should visit a typical Nigerian house hold, where the wife is doing her utmost best to please her husband and the uncountable in-law's who feel it is their right to visit or even stay at will. If she is lucky to have a husband who appreciates her efforts, her good-luck rarely extends to her being appreciated by people like her mother-in-law or brothers/sisters in-law and woe betide her if she complains, she will be quickly hushed by her friends who would inform her that she is really lucky that her husband has not brought a new wife or is not sleeping with the maid. if being desperate is all about living like the fictitious characters of Wisteria Lane then bring it on.
