women in India are unsafe right from the domestic to the social levels women are unsafe and why this condition? It is purely due to gender discrimination and economic dependency of women and with all these difficulties, harassment humiliations women of India tend to live and tolerate the men of violence.
There are thousands of statutory laws are available under the constitution but where the safety of women is ensured ? at home? at school? at roads and streets? at work Place? at the hospital where a woman goes to deliver a child? at trains and buses where women travel from once place to another place? including public toilet she has not safety and including public places and how can we live under the sky?
The next one is treating the women in vulgar words, postures, actions and abusing women sexually and irrespective of social and economic categories women in India are treated and projected as sex objects and alcoholism, non protection for their wealth and properties, unsafe living and working conditions women are living in fear and danger in India and many of the women tend to be at home rather then moving out because of the sense of insecurity around them.
The sex violence and eve teasing is to the core and I am sure the society has no values of culture and no education has modified the behaviour of men towards the women.

The women are still tutted for living in dependency to men and she has no power to exercise her rights on her own income and she can not spend the money as she wishes and she is always controlled by father, husband, brother or sons.
Why this situation to a woman in India? She can not buy property on her name or enjoy the property till her death. By the time she becomes aged and moving towards the death she will be killed by the male partners including the daughters and sons in laws for want of her property and once the property is grabbed by them then she is left in a old age home and she is orphaned to die.

Therefore the land laws should be redefined to protect the women from any torture at any levels including domestic levels and enable them for a free mobility, accessibility to economic sources and what not. Evey woman in India should fee happy to live rather than afraid of living. I have my own family and personal experience and the women of one family is living in danger and contentiously living with humiliations caused to us by the perpetrators on us and our property. They are not allowing us to live peacefully and no Police or court or any of the organizations for justice could help us and help us to lead a peaceful life under the sky and due to the reasons our mother died with deep depression and living in cute trauma died with mental shock on 12th of July, 2012. We are the four women living in mental trauma and is this the country and assurance for our life.

Again the atrocities on women by acid throwing and sexual harassment at work place and public places - no word is there to address all these atrocities on women in India. A 6 year old child and teen age girls at schools are facing sexual harassment from the teachers and others which can not be tolerable and local level action groups and community groups should alone control such violence against women and it is said that millions of cases of women and sexual harassment are pending with the courts and how women of India can get justice and live further days?
It is not only to women of India and it is everywhere under the sky but at various degrees and the entire world of women should come out with a solution for gender equity and justice as we born and live once only in this world. Why should not we live the total life and die?
