COVID-19 reflief work aimed at securing food and masks for at risk women

In light of the lockdown, we are unable to go to the village for fieldwork. Hence, we have moved our work through phone calls. We conduct regular calls with women leaders and train them about the virus, how to prep, details of govt relief.

Moreover, women are at more risk during the virus since many are affected by lack of livelihood. We have coordinated with local governments to identify such women and ensure they have the basic needs easily accessible.

We are also securing food kits to families with ration card and making a list without ration card, so they can get alternative means of relief. Women are also making masks and secure tender from the local govt, so they can earn a living.
