100 million women's contribution (unpaid work - attending domestic duties, free collection & production of goods for household use and caring for others) not counted as of workers or productive.

Economic contributions of 100 Million Indian women (2.13 Trillion in 2004-05) are not counted in National income. While Government subsidy was only 1.7 Trillion (2010-11)

Important: UN considers 'production of goods for own consumption' and 'unpaid household work' as economic activity and count them in National Income.

Without this support system, men engaged in economic activity will not be able to. If women will not work, economy will not survive.
