confidentiality

I remember the first time I met a child who had been subjected to acts of cruelty and his father was not ready to look at me or express herself openly about what he had encountered.

I spent a long time assuring him that she was in a safe place, I remember I spent three days reaping her loyalty to me. But she was not ready to let me take her picture or record her voice.

I learned something that when we take various information of those we work with, it is better to have confidentiality. To build trust for them and for us too.
