Community Anti Rape Campaign

Greetings to you all at World Plus. On behalf of my team at Future Leaders Initiative SL, I have put up a gofundme account to raise funds for our community anti-rape campaign called 'Report To Stop Rape' [Report Fo Tap Rape in Krio]. The campaign aims to encourage survivors to report rape rather than keeping silent and living with the terrible personal, psychological, and health consequences - such as post-traumatic shock syndrome, sexually-transmitted disease, unwanted pregnancy, shame, and stigmatisation.
Reporting rape and sexual assault not only get immediate help and on-going support for survivors, but it also helps the police get justice for them and protects others in the community by stopping the perpetrators from offending again.
Currently in Sierra Leone rape is dealt with mainly as a family issue: it is often unreported, hushed-up, for fear of shame and stigmatisation. In some cases, young girls are even forced to marry their rapists.
I and my team need your help to promote and spread the ‘Report to Stop Rape’ message and the 116 help-line telephone number across the country, especially in rural village communities where many people have limited access to the usual channels of communication. There are three main elements to the campaign.
I have designed sixteen banners that can be displayed in prominent places (such as markets) in the sixteen districts of Sierra Leone. The banner is written in Krio, the language spoken by 90 percent of Sierra Leoneans, and has clear illustrations for those who can speak but are unable to read Krio.
Please! Please! help me and my team make a change in society. Here is the gofundme fundraising page's link gf.me/u/yhqni5. You can as well share this link with your friends and family.
