committee to work on ending violence

Dear sisters,

Yesterday, I started to compile a list of women to invite to join us with ideas of how to stop violence toward women in India. Several of us thought a \"central\" email mailing list would make communicating faster and easier. I will continue to refine this list within the next few days. Does anyone have women to suggest we invite? I have email addresses for: Jackie Patino, Upasana C, Mukat Ray, Olutosin, Rita Banerji, Sapna S., so please send your email address to the India Cafe on World Pulse and I will gather them and include you on the list.
I read the news about the conviction of the 4 men who raped/killed the young women in New Dehli. Hopefully, their conviction will send a strong message about abusing women.
