The Nora Initiative is an initiative aimed at combating violence against women, especially Sudanese women affected by war, displacement, and exile, through: Raising awareness about issues of violence against women. Providing psychological and social support to survivors of violence. Documenting women’s stories and suffering and amplifying their voices. Promoting solidarity and empowerment for women in contexts of war and displacement. Using media and journalistic storytelling as a tool for change.
